Detailing in Hatteras,
by appointment.
This is the far end of the beach, and the Cape Point ORV ramps see more 4x4 beach driving than anywhere on the Outer Banks. Salt water gets into the frame, brake lines and the underbody and starts rust within the season.
What Hatteras asks of a finish.
Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras Village carry a travel charge because of the drive. We stack several houses in one trip to keep it fair.
The cars we see
Around the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and Cape Point it is mostly beach-driving 4x4s, charter-boat tow trucks and the Ocracoke ferry traffic. Buxton and Frisco are regular stops.
The usual prescription
Assessment first, in daylight. For most Hatteras vehicles that leads to a Signature Spa, then a correction and coating once the paint is worth protecting, then the care plan to keep it that way.
Where we work
Charter-fishing lots, rental driveways and the ferry-side lots in Hatteras Village all work. Studio days are reserved for corrections and coatings that need a full, uninterrupted day.
Four stages, in Hatteras as everywhere.
- 1
Assessment
Walk-around with a paint gauge and a light. Plan and price agreed before any product touches the car.
- 2
Correction
Decontamination, then staged polishing until the paint is level and clear.
- 3
Protection
Sealant or ceramic on bare, corrected paint, cured properly.
- 4
Maintenance
Wash guidance that will not undo the work, and the care plan if you want us to handle it.
